Liz + Dom Romantic Vineyard Wedding in Winters California
Liz was my first inquiry through reels! (So crazy that’s how we are headed for booking weddings!)
Not only were she and Dom amazing, their friends and family that celebrated with them were kind, thoughtful, and so supportive. When we initially talked, she wanted candid interactions to be prioritized with the people they loved. So, I took more of a documentary approach to this wedding.
They were previously married but were unable to celebrate due to covid; so they had a quaker-style ceremony surrounded by friends and loved ones. Everyone came together to make it happen, from the cake decoration, to the flowers! IT was an incredible wedding to witness and I was honored to be a part. Enjoy some sneaks below!
From the Bride:
”I grew the Nigella flowers in my bouquet with seeds I saved from our first (covid lockdown) ceremony. We will be collecting the seeds again from my garden this year and mailing them to our friends and family to plant in their gardens.
Dom's mom grew most of the flowers, and the rest came from Full Belly Farm. My cousins Emily, Anne, and Caitlin, aunt Rebecca, mom Jennifer and friends Teal others helped with arranging flowers. Alyssa, Maisie, Liv, Hillary, and Kaleb helped the day before with set-up, as well as Dom's Mom, Aunt Laurie, and sister Olivia. So many more friends helped out during the event with so many things. Our friend Greg brought his speaker system and DJ skills. My dad's friend Mario prepared the amazing tacos and our friend Anita made the cake for us. We had our wedding at the Farm on Putah Creek, a really special place for us and our community. I used to work at a non-profit that was based there, and throughout our college years we threw big parties there with our friends. It was so special to be able to celebrate in a place that holds so many amazing memories for us and our community that helped our love grow. Huge thanks are due to the owner of the farm, our friend Craig McNamara and his family, for allowing us to host our wedding at their family farm. “
